Blowfish Theatre present
Boris the Musical!
Boris toured during 2017 and told the tale of Britain's biggest politiclown from Eton to Election 17. In song!
...we're just waiting for his leadership challenge to bring the show back.
"In the best satirical traditions of That Was The Week That Was and The Frost Report. Whilst it has some painful messages to deliver, it does so with unapologetic irreverence."
Musical Theatre Review
"A very funny show...
something of a blessed relief as the UK
struggles with the aftermath of Boris' Brexit shenanigans"
Manchester Theatre Awards
"Makers of truly contemporary theatre... Blowfish is strikingly youthful and splendidly co-operative. Boris is pacy, irreverent, rude and very funny "

What is Boris the Musical?
Part biography, part farce, part songtastic political satire, all rolled into seventy five minutes of theatre, Boris is "the musical for people who hate musicals", with genres ranging from tango to punk and everything in between, including an epic ballad or two.
As for Boris (played by David Burchhardt), don't be surprised if you get to meet him in the foyer, or at least touch his coat-tails in passing. After all, Bozzer isn't known to be shy.
How did it all come about?
After the EU referendum last year, one of impulsively suggested making a silly musical about Boris Johnson and Brexit. What started as a joke soon turned into a twenty-one date UK tour across five cities.
